We run a variety of programmes for schools which typically focus on developing emotional literacy, coping skills and interpersonal skills. These programmes are adapted according to your needs and can be delivered through bespoke one-to-one sessions, small groups or larger class groups.
Below you will find some examples of our standard programmes, however we always love to hear new ideas for programmes so please get in touch!
Please email info@striveni.co.uk with the name of your school/organisation and the programmes you are interested in then we can send more details regarding costs and bookings.
KS2 - As a class we spend 40 minutes exploring a number of emotional regulation strategies. We then run our 'Emotion Circuit' which is a fun-filled opportunity to practice each of the strategies at a pace!
KS1 - KS3 - Our small groups are an opportunity to offer emotional regulation support (e.g. anxiety, anger, confidence). We use methods of craft, mindset coaching, psychoeducation and games to develop age appropriate coping strategies.
KS1 - KS4 - Similar to our small groups, this is a space for children to be offered specific emotional coaching according to their needs. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and engaging and can focus on themes such as anxiety, anger and self-esteem.
P7 - This session is aimed at P7 students who are preparing for the transition to 'big school' in 2025. We explore the emotions associated with the move, learn skills and strategies to manage the changes and also look at the practical aspects (e.g. reading a timetable, making friends etc).
P7 - Focused on those children who are completing the SEAG in November 2024 (but can include others in the class!), we learn how to best prepare ourselves for the day itself and on the lead up to the test to help us perform at our best:
Relaxation, Energise, Affirmations, Decisions, You've Got This!
KS1 - Early intervention is key and through this programme we aim to foster a positive sense of self in Key Stage 1 students. This is a 3 week programme which explores themes of being special, being brave and being calm. Each child will finish the programme recognising their own strengths.
KS3 & 4 - Suitable for Post-Primary students, this workshop aims to facilitate conversations between peers, explore the emotions each individual associates with exams and develop coping strategies which can be used during revision periods, on the lead up to exams and on the day itself.
We deliver sessions for school staff which can focus on a range of topics including how to support children's emotional regulation, Anxiety Based School Avoidance, Neurodiversity etc.
We can also offer programmes focusing on staff wellbeing, building resilience under stress and team building.
Strive NI can deliver workshops to the parents of the students at your school which can enhance parent-school relationships and encourage parental engagement in their child's school experience.
