About Us

Elaine initially launched Strive NI in 2020 to support parents and professionals working with children experiencing dysregulation as a result of the pandemic.  She is passionate about supporting the development of children and young people, particularly from a social and emotional perspective. 

Having graduated with BSc (Hons) Psychology, she later graduated with MSc Autistic Spectrum Disorders and MSc Applied Psychology (with Mental Health & Psychological Therapies).  Elaine is currently undergoing further training as a Play Therapist and uses an informal and creative style in approach to sessions.

In Northern Ireland she has worked within autism services (adults and children), Children's Psychological Services as well as supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties within education and in the community.
