Children's AUtism Assessment

We are delighted to now offer autism assessments for children and teenagers under 18 in Northern Ireland.  

Our assessments are undertaken under NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) Clinical Guidelines for Autism Assessments.  Following your assessment if appropriate (and with your prior consent), we will also contact your local Health & Social Care Trust to share information regarding the outcome and get this ratified for you.  All of our assessments to date have been accepted.

Our assessment team includes Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and a Consultant Paediatrician.  We also have access to other professionals when deemed necessary to contribute to the assessment.

Fees:

The total cost of our multidisciplinary autism assessment is £1475.  This includes your child’s assessment (ADOS-2), a parent appointment where a full neurodevelopmental history will be taken (ADI-R) and a medical appointment with our Paediatrician if appropriate.  There is no additional cost for your feedback appointment.  Should any further assessments be deemed necessary, this will be discussed in full with you at the time including any additional fee.

Payment can be made in full at the time of booking your appointment, or we can offer a payment plan.

Our assessments take place at our office: Valley Business Centre, 67 Church Road, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim, BT36 7LS.  Parent appointments can be virtual via Zoom.
