Staff Training & Parent Workshops

Children do not always have the words to explain WHAT they are feeling or WHY they are behaving in a particular way. For the adults around them, knowing how to respond can sometimes feel just as challenging.

We provide practical, engaging training for school and healthcare staff as well as accessible workshops for parents, helping the adults around children better understand emotional wellbeing, behaviour and the needs behind what we see on the surface.

For staff

Our training supports teachers, classroom assistants and pastoral staff to look beyond behaviour and consider what a child may be communicating through it.  Sessions are practical and relevant to everyday school life, giving staff greater confidence to recognise emotional needs, respond in supportive ways and use strategies that can make a genuine difference in the classroom and beyond.

For parents

Our parent workshops create a welcoming, judgement-free space to explore the realities of supporting children and young people today.  We focus on understanding rather than blame, helping parents make sense of emotions and behaviour, strengthen connection and communication and leave with practical ideas they can use at home.

Whether you are a school looking to build staff confidence, a parent group wanting practical support or an organisation wanting to strengthen the adults’ understanding around children, we can tailor sessions to your needs.

Our most popular sessions include themes such as:

- Emotional Regulation

- Neurodiversity

- Anxiety Based School Avoidance

- Connection before Correction

- Calming the Chaos

- Supporting Anxious Learners

Please get in touch with us via the contact form below if you feel that we could work with you to deliver an appropriate session for your organisation.  Although there is a cost to our training and workshops, we charge per session rather than per attendee.
